Welcome to our new version of the homecomingradio.net broadcasters' website! This site is now responsive to the device on which it is viewed and should be more efficient. Homecomingradio.net will redirect to this site, but the website operates on the homecomingradio.online domain at this time. Either domain will bring the user to this page. We hope to continue to improve the site in the near future!
Welcome to the Broadcasters Download Site for the Bill Gaither's Homecoming Radio program! We are appreciative of the hundreds of radio stations throughout the world who regularly provide the "Best of the Best" in gospel music week after week via our Homecoming Radio offerings. On this site we make available to our radio stations a new Homecoming Radio program each week.
NOTE: While we offer our Gaither Homecoming Radio programs to our broadcasters free of charge, we do request that new radio station users contact us to register as one of our broadcasters and for permission to download and air the files available on our site. It's important to us to know our broadcasters in order that we be able to maintain quality control as well as to have the ability to contact our users with updates and information as needed. There are no affadavits that require signatures in order to air HCR. Click here to access our "Contact Homecoming Radio" form if you wish to broadcast Homecoming Radio, or if you are a current broadcaster who has never done so.
Broadcasters who wish to air our program more than once a week are encouraged to use our "Daily Program Download Page." On this page, archived programs (same length and format as our "weekend programs") are scheduled five days a week in a manner which will help broadcasters maintain an effective rotation of past shows and also avoid shows which are time-sensitive by season, holidays, etc. The calendar page is provided as a convenience to our radio station users.
The programs on this site are in single file MP3 format and the file size of each MP3 is about 110 Mb. The time sheets are in Excel (.xls) format (under 35 Kb) and provide the broadcaster with a complete list of all songs in the program, song time, CD name, recording label, and the times where breaks are located. The MP3 and Timesheet for each hour-long program are available below for download by clicking on the appropriate "Download" button. Download time may vary depending on your internet connection speed.
Note to Current Broadcasters of Homecoming Radio!
We plan to use email distribution more regularly in the future so, if you haven't been receiving emails from us, please subscribe. We want to stay in touch.
A Message to our Broadcasters (April 28, 2023)...
Hello Homecoming Radio partners!
As promised at the start of the new year, we are thrilled to present all-new shows for your programming. We stand ready to serve you the best we can with promotional audio and graphics, upon request. Don't hesitate to contact us. Below is the Press Release celebrating the new chapter of Homecoming Radio.
Nashville, TN - Celebrating more than 18 years, the globally syndicated radio broadcast known as Bill Gaither’s Homecoming Radio is set to release a new season of programming this month, with brand new music and nationally recognized celebrity guests.
Bill Gaither’s Homecoming Radio program first aired in October of 2004 and over the nearly two decades has grown to be featured daily on SiriusXM. It’s international reach is unparalleled, and is now heard on nearly 4,000 radio stations, networks and digital outlets around the world.
After the sudden passing of long-time producer, writer, and host Phil Brower in May of 2020, a consensus was reached to continue the popular personality’s vision for the show. “Phil was a creative force behind Homecoming Radio for over 15 years.” Bill Gaither states. “His energy, talent, and commitment to Christ were constant. Phil will be greatly missed by all who knew and worked with him, as well as by a world-wide audience of radio listeners who welcomed his amazing voice into their lives. In 2020,” Gaither continues “I called Daniel Britt to help us pick things back up and keep the program moving forward. Honoring the past while looking ahead to the future has been a mainstay of our show - and that’s going to continue!”
Britt acknowledged that “relaunching something with so many moving parts in the midst of a global pandemic proved difficult, yet the Homecoming Friends who make up the show’s cast of characters are ready with great anticipation for all-new broadcasts launching soon!” At a recent taping, co-hosts Kevin Williams & Tori Taff remarked on gathering the gang back together. “It feels so good to be back in the studio,” Williams stated. “This is going to be good! In fact, after just five minutes of recording Tori said, ‘Oh, I’ve missed this! It’s worth the effort!’”
Following a few weeks of special presentations to honor Phil and many others the show said goodbye to in recent months, along with debuting brand new music from The Gaither Vocal Band and others, the show looks forward to a familiar “happy rhythm” of bringing listeners the music, smiles, hope and encouragement fans of the show have come to expect from, long-time hosts, Bill Gaither, Kevin Williams and Tori Taff, as well as special guest hosts like Gordon Mote, Woody Wright, Lauren Talley, Amber Nelon and many others!
The brand new season of shows is slated to begin airing the weekend of March 10. Stations interested in adding Homecoming Radio to their programming may email Daniel Britt at daniel@homecomingradio.com or visit homecomingradio.info. Updates to HomecomingRadio.com and associated digital platforms are currently underway to enhance the listener’s experience. Other special surprises will be in store as the rich tradition of Homecoming Radio continues!
